Furniture items are often larger and/or heavier than Fed Ex and similar shippers will accept. Therefore many items on this site are shipped by a fright carrier. Shipments come professionally packed, often in crates, and/ or reinforced boxes. These are likely to require simple tools to open, including but not limited to: box and wire cutters- and a tool for removing nails from wood, (commonly found on the back of a hammer). NO ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR MANPOWER IS INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING SERVICE. LAMPTREND.COM shall not be responsible for the provisions of services or cost incurred to overcome such obstacles.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OPENING AND DISPOSING OF THE PACKING MATERIALS. THE SHIPPER WILL NOT OPEN THEM FOR YOU, AND WILL NOT TAKE THEM AWAY. Some products may require assembly eg. Many tables ship with legs separate.

NOTE: Delivery is generally undertaken by one person- and as such items weighting more than 100 lbs, and or items that are of an awkward shape, (difficult to lift), will require that you make arrangement for them to be brought into your home, by someone other than the delivery agent.

In the event that the delivery is delayed or prevented by any untoward occurrence Lamptrend.com is not responsible or liable in any way whatsoever. Return/Cancellation Policy Once the order is placed LampTrend.com we submit an order directly to the manufacturer on your behalf; this typically occurs within a 24-hour period after an order is placed by the customer. For this reason, we don't accept order cancellations once the 24-hour window has passed. At the time an order is placed the customer receives a notification via e-mail. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that the information in this e-mail receipt is correct. If the customer does not notify us of any changes within the 24-hour window LampTrend.com will proceed with ordering the merchandise from the manufacturer. In order for a cancellation to be addressed, the customer must submit the request in writing via e-mail to info@lamptrend.com. Once you have received and completed the form, simply attach it to the original box and send it directly to the original manufacturer. All returns must be post-marked within 7 days of delivery. Any item marked as "Special Order" are not returnable, unless they were damaged during transit. Please note that shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. We do not accept returns on orders outside the continental United States. Returning Due to material defects: In the unlikely event that products arrive damaged or that you chose to return undamaged products, the following terms and conditions will apply. All products are warranted free of material defects. Its is the responsibility of the purchaser to personally verify that the item(s) have been deliverable in suitable condition. PLEASE NOTE- WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU INSPECT THE PRODUCTS WHILE THE DELIVERY SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE IS STILL PRESENT. If you are unable to inspect the products while the representative is still present- please mark the freight bill as follow: - UNABLE TO INSPECT ON DELIVERY- AND PLEASE KEEP ALL PACKING MATERIALS UNTIL YOU HAVE HAD TIME TO INSPECT THE PRODUCTS. NOTE HOWERVER THAT FAILURE TO EXAMINE THE PRODUCTS WHILE THE REPRESENTATIVE IS TILL PRESENT IS LIKELY TO MAKE SUBSEQUENT CLAIMS MORE COMPLEX AND POSSIBLY MORE DIFFICULT! In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged: If damage is found please do not sign the freight bill, instead mar it- damaged goods- Please return to sender. Simply ask the delivery service representative to retun the item(s) to the supplier address. CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY at info@LampTrend.com to inform us of the situation, so that we can arrange for a replacement piece to be shipped to you as soon as possible.
Remember that returns must be in their original packaging. PLEASE NOTE- The products must have been re-shipped from the customers within this 7 day period. We are unable to accept damaged returns which have not been shipped back within this period grace. ITEMS RECEIVED AFTER THESE TIME PERIODS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR RETUN.
Cancellations of orders for in stock items will incur a CANCELLATION FEE OF 15% plus CREDIT CARD CHARGES-where applicable, (usually 3-4%). 30-40% RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE CHARGED ON ALL RETURNS OF INSTOCK ITEMS.
